My ip is fixed, does it work if i can't renew my ip (even if i reboot my modem, my ip IS fixe)

 

^ what is the number of your ip?

now if its the actual ip, can you tell me if you are on dial-up and if you have a router? if it starts with 192.169.x.x that is the ip address to your router. you dont have to reboot your modem.

if you have dsl or cable, can you tell me if you did this?

i have a router, my local ip is 192.168.etc.
Rebooting my modem won't change my ip adress because it's fixed. Thanks for your tutorial but, as i said, i can't renew my ip (i tried just to look what it does lol

^ thats your router address... i have that same first 6 number for my router address too.

and the number on that site is your public ip address

personnel, sometimes it work sometimes it dont.
even if it works, it was really slow like dial up 4-5kbps since it is connection from rapidshare --> peppermintsteacksause(proxy server) --> our pc.

if ur own dynamic broadband, just reset ur modem and get a new ip address.
or just to run the command box then flush ur dns to renew ur ip address and u can downlaod from rapidshare again.

 

theres no point in using these methods bcos if they do work they only work slowly or only work well for a bit b4 the websites find out and then change it stopping it from working. i think the best way is to just switch off ur connection and turn it back on. though if ppl started uploading stuff onto websites which don't have a limit or wait time then that would be much better. sendspace is quite a good website however that limits ur download speed but i think filesend and rapidfire are the best.
