So it's true that people in other countries don't really have fun...My parents also work too much,14hours daily but as it's a business,his friends come over to my house... it's really sad to see people working too much...
^ its called 1st generation.. usually first and 2nd generation follow the own boss thing like opening up restaurant or take away... then when it comes to 2nd and 3rd (and etc..) generation, they follow the other people's idea of work like office job, decorator, lawyer, docs etc... so its not really sad to see them working constantly hard in my opinion they have brought it onto themselves, yes my parents are working constantly but now they are getting lazier as they hired an extra counter so no i wont say its sad to see my parents now even if its like more than 10 hour shift coz they have each other and thats what marriage is about to.. committment to each other
nope,my dad's not the 1st generation but the first of the eighth child,so he has to take his dad's business...well my dad's to stubborn to employ someone else... It's sad when the person working is sick and son't want to take any holidays!
i dunno what ya'll talk about 1st and 2nd generation .. i am corporate executive and my wife is a pharmacist or recently promoted to manager now.. her schedule is more stable so she does a lot more house chores - cooking, ironing, laudry - always expect me to be home for dinner or she will bring it to me at work and we go home together. i consider that very caring; not on a leash. when i am at work; she doesn't call me unless it's important and need immediate resolve. she's very independent; she did moved here by herself when all her family and friends are back in chicago ..
