-shock Did you still had to stay polite at that point? (in both cases) (@ BRain: yeah, Clerks was a must see in my first year for the Film courses)
i really wish that never happens to me... even tho i did get yelled at pretty hard for something that is completely not my fault, and out of authority..... dont want that to happen to me, cuz i dont know how to call security lmao
Any job that has contact with people will generate annoying problems. One of the funniest experiences I had was working part time at a fast food restaurant during high school. This angry guy in his late thirties was complaining how the food was cold and the quality was bad and wants a full refund even though he ate 90% of the meal. I told him 'no' and he got so angry that he took coins out of his pocket and threw them at me and missed.
LOL something like that happened in france at a restaurant i ate lol but thats considered abuse... you can call the cops for that... or threaten him lol
yeah...u know the whole motto, "customer is always right" crap. with the fatass, i just told i wasnt discriminating. i was telling her what i knew. i then gave her the number to the stores main office and told her to call them because they are the people that choose the sizes to sell. she then called me a skinny bitch and walked out. with the second dude, i just told him that he has no right to use those words. but it didn't really work. he was just psychotic. haha. i didn't actually call security. the security guys were standing in a booth a couple of feet from the store.
Shit man, she accused you of discriminating her and calls you a skinny bitch...I would have called her an ugly fatass too in that case, she can't prove it if she's not recording you and there are no witnesses around. And following her to the exit, pointing at her and let her know you are talking about her acting or no acting; to crush her already low self esteem. I am bad. -evil
But I got over $6 with the coins he threw at me and the salary for a part time fast food worker isn't that high. lol
Hahah i guess so.. Well, sue him if those coins hit u.. for assault and u'll get much more Lol tax just posted what i wanted to say
lol reminds me of when i started my first job -dead -dead -mellow -clapclap -sweat A man walks in and purchased something.. don't remember what the total was but and I owe to him 0.99cents... his eyes became wide and raised his arms as I was getting ready to hand him his change. He told me that he was getting a $1 bill from me and not 0.99cents.. so I told him but No sir 0.99cents is your exact change....... He smiled, stepped back a little and started throwing pennies..... His wife or girlfriend was sitting at table.... well I dont know why but I was picking up the pennies and when I looked up... the bastards had messed up the whole lobby (which I clean anyways but I already cleaned it not so long ago!) so I had to clean it again....... At the time I didn't know that I could have given him the $1 bill since we do have couple a tip jars (for our so called "excellent or exceptional service") around but we usually got cheated by our manager on the tips but not really since we took tips for ourselves when he wasn't watching. But anyways I didn't know that he was USUAL customer that came every weekend to our store.. A man screamed at me becuz i didnt hand to him his change instead i put his change on the counter.... It was still the first couple days that i just started so I was really sleepy(I worked overnight 9PM-7AM) he told me "Next time. F'ing give me the f'in money to me in my hand."
Hahah I actually don't run into very many annoying customers on a regular basis, so I'm lucky. What really gets me are customers who want to take everything "out" of the packaging so they can inspect it, and then change their minds about buying the item but don't take the time to put everything back in the box. That annoys me.
Haha I'm probably one of those a-holes that treat service people in retail, fastfood, and restaurants really bad. I try not to be, but sometimes it just happens. Please don't spit in my food.-sweat
why do u do it? don't tell me the reason u do it is because u feel ur better than those ppl? how do u just naturally treat ppl badly? no offense dude, but don't u have manners? sorry if i seem a bit harsh, but i've dealt with way too many assholes working retail and the restaurant business. it just makes me even more angry that the reason some of those assholes that yelled at me is because, "sometimes it just happens"
