how come i try converting rmvb to dvd and when i press ok it says "Unable to source the file" then i press ok and it says "Converting has been complete'' when its not
Just rename the file name you like to convert. make sure the output folder name is in Englisg as well.
if you convert a tv rmvb format to a dvd format ( a serie) how many episodes can you burn in a 4.7 gb dvd?
i dont know anything about converting rmvb... i downloaded this program called win avi.. but when i converted a episode in rmvb format to avi... the audio was all wrong.. it lags a bit after the image... what should i do???
Is there a way where you can convert a .rmvb file into something else so that it could be played in the DVD player? I don't quit understand all the .avi stuff??? Thanks.
It depend on the size of each episode. On most cases you can put 4 episodes on each dvd (with menu using NERO make movie option). If you use the DVD-9 format you could put 8 episodes on a dvd but older dvd player can't play this, also the quality (sound and picture) is not as good as the DVD option.
anyone know wat format is best to convert to wen u want to watch it on tv. also how much can u fit into a 4.7gb dvd r-w per-say like 2-3 episo or more?
I use WinAVI to convert rmvb to dvd format, then use NERO 7 to make the Video with 4 episodes per DVD.
thanks for sharing this .. but how much each time I do ... before it finish to 100% it will restart the pc .. ( I did not tick the box which says to shut the pc after completion) and always have 2 files for 1 episode. btw is the code applicable for winavi 7.5 coz i have downloaded that . Winavi 7.1 not available on the net now.. I convert from rmvb to mpeg1 (to be used to burn into vcd format) PLs advise me .Thanks ! -blush

Tested the new version (rm to DVD/VCD) without any problem. If you had 2 files per episode, it is likely caused by the default setup on the output file. If you still had problem downloading v7.1 send me an email, I will send you the program.

The link actually is version 6.2 stil ok rt ? so next time I always re load this in my new pc and then followed by the latest version ? To get vcd format .. do I convert rm to mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 or VCD format ? Sort of confused now. then use nero to burn into vcd ? HOw abt dvd ? JUst choose DVD format or mpeg 2 ? really thank you so much !
