Personally, I was not offended by it because it was such a pathetic attempt to be funny, and a miserable and lowly attempt to mimic us. Like another poster mentioned, she is just a fat turd whose jokes are the quality of a 5-year old and a dog. In my opinion, I don't think we need to deem her as unforgivable or what not, and just let her be; let her continue making shit quality comedy and let her continue believing she is an A-class comedian. I mean, seriously Rosie, are you in grade school? This ching-chong thing not only made herself look idiotic, but is continued proof that many Americans, including so-called celebrities, are still pretty narrow-minded. Well, hopefully the time comes when China kicks your ass USA, and then you lazy Americans will realize what a true Chinese is; that we are more than just ching-chong, and that our culture, heritage, and traditions have survived thousands of years and will continue to thrive in the thousands of years to come. Yes, when I saw Russell Peters clip, now that was funny. He actually sounded like he was speaking Cantonese, and could have probably fooled beginner Cantonese speakers! There's a difference when one makes proper and realistic observances about cultures (Russell Peters) and when one who has no intelligence at all, insults a culture (Rosie). Come on, we're Chinese! This should be the least of things to worry about or sign petitions about. Just let her be, and sooner or later, time will carry her out of show business.

I can understand that she's an idiot. But to be allowed to broadcast her racist ignorance on a national network is quite another thing. Her network should be make to suffer. Say how about the PRC ban all ABC employees from China for five years? That would certainly get their attention. Imagine if the ABC network can't broadcast anything from the olympics because of this?
