if the heaviness of a console control pad effects you then maybe u need to get to your local gym and work on those arms of yours
ive played with a ps3 controller and compared with ps2 its just too light like mentioned before. and rumble is essential. i just thought something was missing playing games with the ps3. im glad they worked it out and got the rumble back in it.
man so stupid that this is comin out... i already spent like 55 bucks per controller x3 and now imma have to re-buy the controllers =(
