people tends to over cook salmon. it is tasty if cooked right i loved it grilled or as a parcel in the oven with onions and herbs
mm.. salmon! I love it as sashimi, but if I were to cook it I do it super simple. I usually use a filet. If you got a whole salmon, filet it =P Then top the filet with minced garlic. You can use as much or as little as you want. I love garlic, so I use a lot. Then sprinkle with a bit of salt and some pepper. Steam it or stick it in the toaster oven to broil until JUST cooked through (10-15 mins, depending on filet size). Squeeze some lemon juice on it if you like and bon appetit!
I've been eating a lot of salmon since I made this thread... Fillets, tinned and even salmon fish fingers XD haha
I like to steam salmon, as it's more healthy than pan frying and safer than eating 'raw'. 1) Buy the piece near the tail, and not the belly 2) Rinse the salmon w/ water 3) Rub some 'sea salt' around it 4) Use garlic oil and garlic to marinate it 5) Add some parsley flakes 6)Squeeze a tad of lemon if you want 7) Add a dash of shoyu 8) Steam for 15-20 minutes. When ready, cut some more onions and garnish as desired. Splash some shoyu and eat !
Salmon is yummy =) I either put in my rice cooker or frying pan and use some miracle whip as sauce. Good stuff goes good with rice. Besides that salmon is just eaten sometimes when i go out for sushi. +)
buy salmon fresh, whole, fillet it urself wrap the fillet in alum. foil, sprinkle some sea salt & lemon juice, put directly on top of hot charcoal, wait 10 minutes, consume =)

something i used to make during my uni days pan fried to medium-well with salt and pepper serve with mayo or sometimes soyasauce
i always eat raw salmon fish whenever i go japanese restaurant! i think its really awesome and healthy thats why japanese people have a longer life span.
I love salmon, especially raw. For cooked salmon, it can't be overcooked otherwise the texture will be too tough for me.
