I agree with the "not a necessary luxury food" part. Eating too much luxury foods will get you addicted. I only eat sharks fin soup on special occasions only..

Well, too bad Americans are way too macho to withdraw from a game of trigger-pulling.

And I wonder which part of "survival of the fittest" do you mean, just because it's one of the advanced countries doesn't mean it isn't riddled with tons of social problems which will hollow the country inside out.

Extending your logic, we shouldn't treat any sick patients because we are all going to die eventually right? No operations, no medicines, no nothing. Because it's a "losing battle", no?

Not to mention this "losing battle" pitch will save every country a huge multi-gazillion budget, Americans are indeed very advance in their twisted thinking.

/sarcasm (in case it go unnoticed)

As long as the rate in which we consume food is slower than the rate of it being reproduced, we are fine.

I thought it's your ABC attitude that anything eventual shouldn't be interfered, sharks are dying? Let them be. Bees are dying? Let them be. Climate change? Meh, not in my lifetime.

I am just extending your logic to: humans dying? Let them be.

*sighs* fine...........(ABC attitude kicks in)let everything die lol-dead, i could care less as long as it doesn't happen in my lifetime, we are not really fully living if we are not using all the resource given to us, why should it matter if we save our future generations if we are not there to experience the apocalypse anyways!!!!!!! these issues does not affect us in anyway!!!

Sounds like you lack the survival gene...that's ok, there's already an overpopulation now, we can do with less people on earth, the more for the survivors LOL. -lol

Nope...not vegetarian. Very much a meat lover in fact! :D Thing is, some animals are meant to be eaten. They are bred in the farms and found in abundance. I have nothing against people eating rabbits in Aussie, cos they're pests! But sharks are different. They don't bother us unless we invade their territory. It's the environment we're talking about here.

I don't know if it contains mercury in the fins. I thought the mercury is in the flesh. Like in big deep sea fishes like tuna.

Yes, Hiake, you voiced my opinions exactly! Thank you very much! -clapclap
