Opps, didn't see this. 1) Cilla's voice aint squeeky imo. I hate it when she yells. But tbh, I'll prefer Tong Mui's voice > Cilla. 2) Yes, Tong Mui did well here. Can't deny. However, I would think that male would still choose Cilla > Tong Mui in terms of goddess. Tong Mui has the better music career. On a side note, this series reminds me of 4 In Love. Like 4 In Love, 4 (or so) love stories in a series but they have nothing to do with each other. Constantly alternating between couples. Season of Love is better imo, they focus on one at a time.
I've always liked Kate. I have her TVB magazine from the days. The thing is, she was portrayed as a TOMBOY type of character, but over the years, TVB and the entertainment circle have molded her into what she is today. She's okay now, but I feel like this series is one of those series where they simply bring in faces. I've read a lot about broadcasting battles, and it'll be weird if TVB took a step back. To me TVB is GOD!
Yeah I was trying to refer to Cilla screaming (she screamed in Days of the Days and other dramas too). When Tong Mui screamed at her desk because she was angry (when she said the tomato knows how to talk), it wasn't annoying. In contrast, during DoTDs, Cilla screamed to stop her 'crew' from talking/fighting. That, was squeeky and therefore not that appealing to the ears.
I just realised, the title is Season of Love so I'm assuming that they'll be having 4 stories in total. Season (Him), Summer (Kate)???? i guess i missed the one w/ toby. so is she and him law together? i figured.. it's kinda lame though. it looks cliche.
I didn't even bother to watch the first 5 episodes coz of toby. Really don't like her and her acting skills are poor. Y would they choose her to act anyway? Watching ep 6 onwards now, good story line, don't mind watching ron ng and Kate Tsui.
man... I dont like Ron and Kate, their acting is HORRIBLE... i guess i will wait for the next couple.. haha
I guess it's just hard for actors to put a good performance when the script is so dumb and boring. If I remember correctly, Kate and Ron were together in The brink of law and there they were quite a good couple.
