even if it's not enough to leach out the ejaculate but his skin would b exposed to the woman's discharge... i'm not saying u'll get infected instanly... in fact some reports say the chance of catching the AIDS virus from a single act of heterosexual intercourse with an infected partner is 1 in 500 if no condom is used... but y put ur health at risk??
Like I say again, only if both partners have a break in their skin, or if the genital discharge comes in contact with broken skin will there be a risk of infection. The fact that intact sking rubs on intact skin around the condome will not transmit STDs. That's why it's ok to shake hands with someone who has AIDS. Heck, even kissing someone with HIV will not transmit the virus. HIV infection of 1 in 500 comes out to 0.2% with UNPROTECTED sex. With protection, the rate is even lower. I'm not advocating unsafe sex or irresponsible sexual behavior. My goal is to make sure people know the facts so they can protect themselves properly when they do decide to have sex. I respect your choice of abstinence if that's the case, but for those on the forum who choose to have casual sex, they should know how to use condoms properly and what their real risks of infection is. I deal with this almost every day & I counsel plenty of teens and young adults in their 20s on proper sexual behavior and protection. I've also treated many people with STDs. So please, just practice safe sex, but don't be intimadated into abstinence if you do choose to have sex or think it's the right time for you.
