^didn't they ban gum as well? (so no one would have the chance to spit it on the ground?) hehe.

i wonder if they'd allow this to be broadcasted in america.

Yup.. gum is banned... long time ago. lol
The reason why most of the streets in SG are clean bcoz they are pretty strict.
If u get caught throwing rubbish in the streets, u haf to do community service, go around sweeping the streets. Lol

^would you accept a challenge on how fast you can get your underwear off? (provided of course that you don't flash anyone; presumably this would be behind close doors)

Gum is not banned anymore. You can use it as dental-medication.

It wasn't like they were flashing...just take their bra off as fast as possible...a fine is a bit overreacted by the Singapore authority.

It must be a case of "mind-polution"

Well... SG is quite famous for being strict on certain things...

But the over protective hand of the government, makes SG less competitive, since SG people will not be able to live a SG live outside the borders ...

Yup, and most people I know cannot take SG life unless it's in small doses...

Well, that's why I think the SG authority is going a bit too far as they can never know what people are thinking and if they try to control what people may or may not have in their mind, they'll be close to be a facists state.

And the more they forbid these 'mind-pollution', the more creative people will be in their mind.

"Don't think about that purple Milka cow!"

...and you'r now exactly thinking of that purple cow. -lol
