You're right, it won't be a direct port. If XBox stays with DVD formatted games, Square will probably split the games onto multiple discs like the PSX FF games. But since future XBox 360s will be able to handle HD DVDs, Square might just break trend and say it'll only work with systems that support HD DVDs. However, I'm leaning more towards the multi-disc version. Remember, Resident Evil turned multi-disc when they released it for Gamecube. But yeah, it might be a bit more eye candy on the PS3 though, I agree with you there.
naw son.. the games to def. look out for are.. God of War 3... Devil May Cry 4 Metal Gear Solid 4... damn the graphics for those games is just gonna jaw dropping...
lol yeah i dunno how i forgot those... omfg, God of War 2 was amazing, i'm sooooo anticipating GOW3. considering how amazing the graphics of the last one were, i hope GOW3's graphics will be absolutely mind boggling
yea mang... wit the flames flying everywhere... n blood n guts flying n titties poppin... I can't wait to see what the psp version has to offer... they have a lil site right now counting down to the next title...
I heard about the possible price drop, but does anybody know what that will do to the ps3 itself, like software changes or something? My friend told me that instead of having the actual ps/ps2 mechanism built in to the ps3 as it is now, Sony's going to change it to soft-ware updates instead, much like how the xbox 360 works to play xbox games. But that's only something I heard from a friend who is much more into this stuff than me, so I wanted to know what others might know.
huh?? so what's bad about that?? or are they gonna make you buy the software or something?? I mean even if the price drops... it's still going to cost a lot to even be able to play one game...
i dont think there is a 'ps2' mechanism in the PS3 lol.... its all just software at this point and all the software provided by sony is in the form of free patch updates, so no worries, mate.
yeah the ps3 is capable of so much more, not even the ps3 developers unlocked all of it, but i still think the wii is going to dominate the markets until people start wanting quality (video)
hehe good. I mean why would you buy a console that barely have games for so much. but its a good blue ray player since you dont have to buy a separate one.
well its quite ridiculous 600 bucks for a gaming system can buy a normal comp with that and whats more and another few hundred bucks can have a comp better then ps3
