Well a fake trailer along with a poster is all over the internet with Topher Grace as Venom. Yes Eddie Brock should be played by a bigger actor, but so far they havent mention another actor being in the cast besides Jame Franco, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace. Look up Spiderman 3 on Wikipedia. There's plenty of info on the movie.
I wouldnt say its a shit cast. I think it depends on which Venom they are portraying. In Ultimate Spiderman which is a different universe compared to the original Spiderman, Eddie Brock's physique resembles that of Topher Grace. The director might be using a combination of Ultimate Spiderman and Amazing Spiderman for this movie. If that's the case then it is still base on the comic, but a combination of two different universe. I also think Thomas Haden Church will play a good Sandman.
I think they put Topher as Venom cuz of all the fake trailers... he's actually gonna play the Vulture.. and yes the symbiote suit looks a bit weak its like the original suit.. cept blak...
