Seriously, I didn't know you can choose to stay an extra year? Unless you fail your classes on purpose, which wouldn't have made it too smart since you'll just be staying for the same thing. If you really wanted to be better prepared you should have taken prep classes during highschool, or even the summer.
well, u can always go to a community college to improve and its a lot easier to be transferred from a community college to uni than going from high school to uni
i second this response. IMO i understand your reason for wanting to stay in high school to prepare for a university, but is this something you thought of on impulse? after all i think me including many others find university a very different experience from high school. i'm definitely sure many university bound students are qualified but there's always a very small minority of students who aren't also. essentially if you already got accepted into a university after you applied, they are basically giving you a spot that you earned from completing something equivalent of a high school education and saying that you are qualified to study at that college/university. regarding to what a degree means nowadays, it's only a tool to get you into the door of a company or job. a degree will not help you get a job, your own knowledge, work ethic, and commitment will. if anything, COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY prepares you more for real life than anything. in order to succeed you're going to have to USE everything to your advantage and adapt to a new environment of learning. sound familiar? would you have thought this way when transitioning from middle school to high school or is it the university and beyond that you're not comfortable with. i would really put a lot of thought into staying one more year in high school against going to university. i wouldn't want you to regret one day that staying one more year in high school was not useful or helpful to you. good luck.
International baccalaurete, i spelled the b wrong^ anyways, depending on what school you want to go to, and ur major, staying in high school is uselessbecause ur general studies will be the same for whatever your mahjor is, in that school i.e. 'general studies.' where are you from i dont think thats really heard of in the US, even Van Wilder stayed his years in college. ________ vaporizer guide
