i'm sure photoshopped pics would be up soon there's enough international fans now. wow, i was in the DB scene back in the 90s! Stephen Chow had a Dragon Ball scene where he was Goku in Saint of Gamblers... lol, and Mm Man Dat was Piccolo, was real funny! As far as the new film is concerned, I'd like to see it sorta go the Resident Evil way... use characters from the source material, but alternate story line... though, that's what Transformers did, but I felt it should've followed the source material more.... But with Goku and Piccolo as the main leads, I'm assuming it's based on the Piccolo Saga, when Goku is about his late teens and in the World Martial Arts Tournament... that should be a good start to the movie franchise... and end with Saiyans coming to Earth...
But without the original stuffs like the hair, it wont be Dragon Ball. Like all all cartoon/anime made into movie.... i felt very distant from my childhood. Stephen Chow can take a small role... how bout the horny Master Roshi, Ng Man Tat can make a great Mr.Satan. Hahahah
I think no expectation, no disappointment...lots of live action based on anime with super powers and stuff is pretty cringe worthy *coughsailormoonliveactioncough* Let's hope that the movie is not going to be worse than that...

...you're kidding right? A DBZ movie?! Oh dear.... it's going to be full of CG's.. and what not. I think this is kind of going way to far... I enjoy DBZ... I also enjoy Stephen Chow... and what not. But DBZ is a really hard thing to make into a live-action in my point of view. And making it great?! oh dear...
well, guess that's the only way to help speed up breaking into the market in Hollywood - but i'm sure it will work
Yeah but if this works out imagine all the anime that could be transpose into live-action, could be the begining of something good
Wow, Dragon Ball is my favorite anime, this movie better be good. Going to be interesting to see how they can fit the over-the-top DBZ style attacks with real people.
how are the graphics and special effects going to be placed into the movie. its gonna be a little weird. hope that steven will chose to film a role in the movie as well.
looks interesting but i'm thinking the movie will be a little rushed if it included all those characters.
always had a feeling the dragon ball characters were asian... and now they use some non-asians to play in this movie :S not sure if i would like to see that.
If they are going to use Caucasian characters to represent Saiyans, shouldn't Trunk and Gohan be some sort of mix between Caucasian and Asian. Call me racist if you want but Its going to be hard to convince the audience (or just me) that a full Asian-looking kid came out of a Caucasian-looking Alien's piss hole. Or are those characters already confirmed?
