Upcoming Dragonball Movie 04-08-2008 Hollywood has gotten into a habit of passing off cartoons and comics as movies. Its the new movie trend going. I'm not surprised to see chinese actors(chow yun fat, in pirates) and manga/animes going hollywood. This movie will probably be a disappointment for those who have read or watched any dragonball, because these movie adaptations never cover the whole story and skip/change a ton of the original plot. CGI? Expect A LOT of computer-made special effects. I'm thinking dragonball will have cgi similar to stuff in lotr (lots of goblin/orc graphics) and transformers (bots). Throughout dragonball theres tons of kung fu fighting, but as you enter dbz you can see the heroes and villians alike, doing energy blasts (those things that look like fire-balls emitting from guys' hands). Plus, there'll prolly be a load of cgi even if there is no energy blasts cuz in dragonball theres these lil moves called 'disappearing' and charging power. Disappearing is when a guy is supposedly moving so fast that you can't see em (often used to avoid energy blasts). Charging power, wow in the dbz anime goku spends like 20mins in every half hour episode charging his power (in the half-squat with fists by his side stance, or just standing there with a yellow glow around him), power is also referred to as 'chi'. Theres a shitload of discussion/talking in the dbz anime b4 somebody starts the fight and usually the fighting lasts about 5 seconds b4 they waste 20mins charging their power and maybe changing form/transforming into super saiyan(0oOoo blond hair), fusing with another guy or growing bulkier/uglier. ***Note*** This upcoming movie might be a big disappointment to those who know about dragonball, but for those who just want to relax and enjoy an entertaining anime/martial arts movie dragonball would be AwEs0m3. Dragon Ball is one my favorite comcis, and it is nice to see how they can turn it to a movie. Really looking forward to it!
i can't wait to see it. all i gotta say is i have faith in steven chow's films. i believe with d high tech as now aday it will have no problems to do such a stunt or any side effects. so far they've picked the right actors i suppose. but i actually expecting the Goku's roll is an asian. but i know that i'm gonna love it.

lmaoooo this reminds me of live sailor moon. HAHHA why is goku white? he only has blonde hair while super sayin. oh gooodddddd why do i not see this as a.. "serious" movie?
