I wonder whether it was a strategic move to hold back on iphone 5 because of Steve's expected death which will greatly hurt the company stock. Perhaps they're holding it back and use the iphone 5 to kick up the stock again ... who knows.

R.I.P. to one of the greatest innovators of our time. to say he helped contribute to the shaping of modern media and technology is an understatement. my condolences to his family and the best of luck to apple for holding down the fort without steve.

NEWS react to stocks, not the other way around. Price has already been priced in, the moment STEVE announced OFFICIALLY leaving his CEO title. On the inside, everyone knew what was coming. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on. I suspect Steve DIED PRIOR to the SCHEDULED HYPED EVENT.

AAPL is hype though, I don't own a single aapl product and don't find it compelling either.

Pay ATTENTION to the fact that i said stocks were moving that day-PRIOR to jobs death.

the fact that you don't own one is the exact reason you don't feel compelled to own one. People who have no money and never did don't realize they are poor either. Not trying to be a smart*ss but it truly takes owning one of these phones to understand what you've been missing. not saying you need the newest version--but you should definitely get your hands on one.
