LOL oh my goodness, but our family always does laundry in the machine. Haha if we have clothes that can't go in the machine we just do it ourselves. I don't mind doing laundry at all. I'd rather do laundry than washing dishes. hahaha
Your family is the kinda that I fucking stay away from .. BAD NEIGHBOR .. taking up all the fucking parking spaces ... pig house. Back to the laundry .. if you want things to change, then you better take a stand and speak your mind. If you continue to let others walk all over you, you will be the next "VICTIM" of domestic violence in the near future just for being a "pleaser" .. read the research ...
You only have to do laundry for people once... ever. Wash cycle select scalding hot, put everything in. Add soap AND bleach. Once done, then take everything and put it into the dryer select Hot and ensure that everything is absolutely dry before removing. Then without folding, put it all into a bag, wait until it cools, and return the laundry to whoever owns it. When they say thanks, look them straight in the eye and say MY PLEASURE. Voila. No one will EVER ask you to do laundry again.
^ur mum did it for u? I mean, i have some silk dresses, some bra's n sweaters id never put in the machine...
hmmmm maybe... but my whole adolescent life since i was 13? when i started doing my own laundry i haven't had to hand wash anything, i guess i don't buy any sort of clothes that have the necessity, and or i take to to dry clean? on a side note:
^ love that .. i personally don't hang wash anything .. in fact, i don't buy anything that need to be hand washed or dry clean .. except my suit .. that i get my assistant (at least used to) do it for me .. bring and pick up at the cleaner for me ... lol girls do love doing laundry though .. i remember when i was back in college my girlfriends (regular friends only now) would help me do the laundry and yes including my undergarments .. not even shy at all...it seemed like they're born to do it .. lol
^lol not all girls negiq.... id do it to be nice... n to help out but i dont love it.... n especially dont love some other guy's dirty undies... that id never do.... id do it for my bf but never for his friends its sorta like saying: all guys enjoy taking out the trash
^ <3 the trash comment....:laugh:.... umm....in my fam....im the person who hangs the washing out....i dun mind it i guess...my bit to the fam....i just HATEEEEE it when it rains one min and then sunny one min so im like hang it out or not hang it.....=/....yesh we dun have a tumble dryer....

i never saw what was wrong with taking out the trash though... you do it to keep your house, the place where you live, clean. I've been doing my own laundry a long time and i never had anything wrong with it..... but my gf does my laundry mostly now..... which is greatly appreciated
what a nuisance .. hanging your clothes out to dry .. i don't know if that's norm over there .. here .. you get sued for that .. an eye sore and make the neighborhood ghetto .. also .. allergen may get on your clothes when you hang out to dry .. all those itchiness .. yuck.... for us here, we use "air dry" function in the drying machine... no hanging out in the lawn or backyard... oh yeah .. the trash .. come to think of it .. i have NEVER taken out the trash before .. always someone else in the house. when i live alone, my gf did it, at home, someone did it, just not me...lol
