Akuma and Ryu's one knockdown but Akuma's can combo off it

 

I went gamestation today and they had 2 SFIV arcade machines, i got pwned by everyone........... not used to using the stick :(

i'm debating whether i should splurge on a HRAP3... or buy the madcatz SE and mod that =/

difference is bout $40usd... and i probably wouldn't mod the HRAP3... the madcatz sticks are amazingly mod friendly lol

 

This has been my experience playing on XBL:

*opponent skims through each character, as if they were deciding*
*I choose my character*
*opponent goes straight to Ryu/Ken and selects without hesitation*

i get that a lot when online

 

have u guys(and/or girls) tried the mad catz fightpad? it works pretty well. I gues they focused more on the pad and the TE stick, too bad for the quality of the stick for the SE :S :S

 

i unlcked akuma with only one perfect, no ultra

 

yea u dont need ultra finishes to unlock akuma
only perfect
1perfect for 1 round match

 

Just wondering, do you fight akuma like any other normal computer or does he still have the specific requirement like in the arcades...:ugh:

Do you guys know where I can get a PS2 to PS3 controller adapter that works with a stick and and plays PS3 games? All the adapters I've seen on eBay are mainly for controllers, or work with sticks but won't play PS3 games.
