i wont deny that, i am noob using a joystick, still managed to beat 2 other noobs before i lost on the 3rd match ^^
i used to love them hacked versions of SF at the arcade were 3 fireballs come out at once and you can in mid-air and stuff like that
re: akuma, they've balanced out a lot of the characters hence why he's a little crap now. in the hands of a pro, akuma was once almost invincible and even tournaments banned him because playing against him was such a big handicap.
yaaaa it was awsome im so good at alpha 3 with akuma its just crazy, i played a dude who's been playing all his life (not literally) and thought he was the cream of the crop and in the end he had to admit that im damn good as nobdoy had perfected him lifke that before. Akuma FTW
but its still Street Fighter, gotta love it <3 i heard they were releasing an anime to co-exist with the game at the same time. i seen the trailer, looks pretty cool
People say that cos its more of a SF2, hard to make a come back without the parry system. That guy is a juggle whore I swear...spinning kick from one side of the screen and juggle it to the other side...massive disadvantage if you use X-ism against him... Yeah...anime and manga
yeah thats it, on alpha 3 i can take 90% of your life bar with 1 juggle, i can pretty much keep you up even if you use air recovery, then i finish it of with a Raging Demon -pirate
they got rid of the parry coz only pros could use it. u literally had to learn every other characters moves to know when to do it properly or it just wouldn't work and they wanted to make it more accessible to everybody.
So they went and took away the thing that separated the pro's from the wannabe pro's? parrying is the reason i bothered to play 3rd strike. if they dont have a technical feature in its place then its Fail imo
it's stupid to me as well, i liked the parrying. they've got this new weird system which i conveniently forgotten but it's nowhere near as pro as parrying was, it's designed for even noobs to use easily...
played the game in the arcades, pretty good. it gives the nostalgic feel it and more strategy involved.
