Yup very. Does anyone still play Street Fighter IV (not super, but the vanilla), I ask is cause they changed the damage hits on SSFIV (eg: weakened Sagats Tiger Uppercut and added a new move to increase it back to the original)
I have it on PC, nobody really plays SF4 on consoles. There's still some people lingering around the PC version cuz they don't have consoles. Everybody's damage got toned and normalized to a close amount, not just Sagat.
Yes I know, that is why I said "...SSFIV (eg: weakened Sagats Tiger Uppercut and added a new move to increase it back to the original)". I dislike the way how people kick you out of their endless match when you are "too good", they don't give you a chance to play (cause in the endless match, the people in that lobby are all real-life friends?).
yea.. or they kick you before you even get to play.. which sf4 matching is a bit better for trying to get quick 1on1 matches. Instead you have to keep waiting for people to finish.
What rank are you lot for your main character? I don't have time to play this game until August 2011 lol...
My Bison is 8200 BP on Xbox and 5500 BP on PSN. Too much annoyance trying to rank up, I play a lot of Endless Lobbies instead. I'm playing/learning how to use Dee Jay now so I'll see how far I can go with it. Still experimental.
Wow, a solid B rank. For some reasons, I have trouble defeating charge characters, it's usually a 50/50 winnage against them -dead I'm B rank too (Ryu) on xbox but I don't play it anymore, too busy.
I stopped playing ranked for a few months now.... my ken is in the 6500bp range..... endless battle is where the training really happens....
Yea, too bad it is either you get kicked out or they drop out from the endless match hobby. OR, you yourself drop out cause they are too good xD
^ @sam Not quite ;____; Lose with pride or win with shame. I'm not saying that it's shameful to win without pulling much combos out, but I do believe that it matters, as it represents your skill. Otherwise you'll pretty much just be button mashing, won't you?
Not really. It's a strategy. Say you have 60% life and your opponent has 30% life with fully loaded super and ultra meter. Why should you step to him and risk losing? You have the advantage of the timer. Sit tight and punish his mistakes. There's nothing dishonorable winning by time out. Happens in sports and everything all the time.
If I had time, I would post my stats here xD Of course, I don't though, college life is busy like a bee wondering around for honey. Getting chip (cheap) wins through throwing projectiles (whilst they are about to stand back up from the ground) is okay if your opponent is very good (not worth risking the loss).
Ah, I'm not talking about cheap wins, I'm talking about button mashers. Those without strategy. The way samchen had put it, I replied with the only thought of referring to players who, for example, just mashes dragon punches at random times or something. Sorry, I wasn't quite clear. :x
You mean shoryu spammers, they're typically nothing if you know how to keep your distance and punish those whiffs and blocks
^ i played one today and i almost lost! fucking getting so use to non spammers my poking instincts get the better of me!
@Uncle Yeah, but I'm not talking about tackling them, I'm just trying to express my personal opinion that combos do matter. >< Lol Akki! Instincts !
Uh Oh !!!!!! Bad news ... No dlc characters being ported because the higher ups declined the proposal :(
