Actually he was 'early by a step' this time just that he once again chose to be noble and sacrifice his happiness for others. What a disappointment...the ending just ruins the whole series. From the time Jeff lost it, the series seems to build up to a Chee Yut Bo & Twinkle pairing. All we see is how Chee Yut Bo continue to be there for Twinkle and always willing to sacrifice himself for her. My twist to the ending...Twinkle unknowingly have picked Chee Yut Bo but didn't realize it until Jeff hugged her during the firework at Disney (by her reaction she didn't seem too happy that it was Jeff). As Chee Yut Boo was leaving Twinkle turned and noticed that Chee Yut Boo was there also. She called him to say "Why do you always put everyone's need before your own?" And from that moment on they have been inseparable.
Think that's what most ppl think about the ending......they wanna make it a special, sad ending. The producer would have seen how's the response, maybe they will think of producing the sequel...(alternate ending)...Somehow i feel they wanna bring out the message that if three person are entangled in such complicated situation(relationship), it's better for one to leave out of it for good...
Yes, you're right; and it is exactly this sort of TVB creative philosophy that is pissing fans off. We watch the shit because we want a happy ending. Else we can each go back to our own miserably mundane lives and not watch their angst driven drivel in the first place. So in the end, the most deserving good guy willingly becomes the philosophical hero that selflessly suffers for the sake of his friends? WTF kind of ending is that? While I understand the dramatic creativity of it, I certainly don't have to like it.
This is decent series, it did drag the last 4-5 eps but so needed a great ending, it is very poor even by tvb standards, Tavia and Steven have good chemistry, a real shame, by trying to make a non tvb happy ending, it ended up been a lot worse, ah well.
most likely they didn't want to create such an obvious ending......the bad thing about the ending was i found out really early when a fan posted up a youtube video of them filming in disneyland.....
Frankly, I found the ending a bit unlikely. If one seriously thinks about it, Tavia's character really only goes out with Michael's character for a few short weeks. If one were to compare the depth of feelings and relationship that she had with Steven's character, one really has to stretch the imagination that she would consider both Michael and Steven to be on an equal emotional footing. In a normal world, Steven's character would be a shoe in. But in TVB's creative writing world, normal scripts aren't good enough. They always have to throw a wrench into the normal ending to generate viewer angst and media hoopla. The only way this is going to change is if viewers revolt. Someone should start an on line petition to boycott products advertised on that show unless TVB comes back with an ending everyone wants. Once you start talking money, all the creative shit will go right out the window. headbang2
Good Ending Tavia should be with michael, cuz she know steven for too long they are too good of a friend and they should stay that way.
i disagree because both tavia and steven liked each other since the beginning. it just took them some time to realize that. michael wasn't good for tavia esp when he started having his temper tantrums.
