Tavia is nominated for two awards this year.. Best Supporting Actress and Most Improved. The weird thing is that Tavia has been in the industry for 10 years now and is NOT a newbie.. I don't understand why she would be considered in the Most Improved category considering that she has already won this award for Vigilante Force in 2003.

It's so nice that Tavia is getting to make more special appearances due to her rising popularity after MR.

Hong Kong's TVB and New Zealand's television station co-hosted the "Miss Chinese of New Zealand Pageant 2008" and will be held on November 20, 2008 at Manukau City, New Zealand. Anderson Junior (安德尊) and 2005's Miss Chinese International Fala Chen will be the hosts for the event. I'm really quite upset about this nomination.. for Tavia to be considered in the same category as all those new-comers is really a slap in the face..

There have been reports recently suggesting that Tavia has developed an obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) caused by a hormone imbalance, where she mops up the floors in her apartment in the middle of the night.

When asked about the rumors, Tavia admitted that she did feel some pressure when she was busy filming for her series, but she is feeling fine now. She explained that the reason she was mopping up at night was because she wanted to do some exercise and this was a constructive way that also helped her mother with some of the housework. She said that she has a compulsion to keep things clean and did not really know what the term "OCD" actually meant, but insisted that she is in good health.

As for reports that she has had some cosmetic surgery on her nose, Tavia laughed that she has not had time to rest, let alone have surgery. She said that her tall nose was inherited from her mother.

Asked about suggestions that she and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) are tipped for nominations for this year's anniversary awards, Tavia said that she has not thought too much about it and she is already happy that her performances have gone down so well with the audience.

Tavia Yeung said: “During the filming of <Moonlight>, the communication between the casts is not a problem. Therefore, there was no pressure.
