Hopefully Tavia's possible role in the new costume series will be a good one.. she will be a villain and it's a role that she's been hoping for!

Tavia said that doesn't depend on rumors, does not depend on sucking up bosses, not taking of short cut. She only wishes that her hard work will gain her success. From acting as a maid of a Fa Dan, sister of a Xiao Sheng to crafting a career for herself and attaining the legitimate seat of a female lead.

Although Tavia has taken a long route than other female stars, she doesn't complain.
She said that if she can travel back in time and there is a opportunity for her to become famous overnight, she rather takes the route she took because she feels more secure taking one step at a time.

Speaking of Tavia, actually the audience's image of her can be very blurred or familiar. Who is Tavia? Oh, that girl who acted as Maggie Cheung's sister? that girl who looked like her? Oh, that poor maid? Oh that that... Ever since entering the industry, Tavia has many opportunities. Her hard work has been recognized and slowly attaining the female lead's seat.

Being the female lead for the first time, there is not only one female lead in the show. There are often another female lead. Audience may feel indignant for her. Tavia feels that it is okay. Her hard work is still being recognized.

In this complicated entertainment circle, Tavia is like a lotus flower. Pure and not stained. "I think that goal is very important. I feel that I don’t think rumors or irrelevant news to establish my image. Because I want to be myself. When I just entered the industry, I don’t have the ambition to attain what is beneficial. I only wish to do my job well, to act in many roles for the audience. This is my goal."

Asked if she will feel tortured when compared to someone who is more ambitious, "Oh, although some people may feel indignant for me and feels that I am very hardworking but won’t fight for it and end up being overshadowed by others, I don't think it that way. I have a route that I want to take." She said that if there are two routes that can eventually leads to her target and she will feel happier choosing the route that is longer. "I wish I can succeed eventually and not just a momentarily success."

"If I have a chance to choose again between pageant and training class, I will still choose training class because I got to know many good friends there and found real friendship. Although the half a year was short, it was very fulfilling. I miss those times."

Waiting for a good role

We always think that Tavia doesn't have the luck as she doesn't have a role that is impactful. "I am also waiting for a good role. But it's hard." Looking at the tavia in front of me, her tone is normal and she doesn't show any tinge of complaining.

Even so, she emphasized that she loves her role in Dicey business. "After being in the industry for so long, dicey business is the one I will choose to be my representative piece. I have to act sexy in the show and this is a big challenge. I will be quite restrained in the past. But after taking this role, I have changed totally. And it's at that moment I realized that I can act this kind of role."

Not a weak girl

Should we categorize Tavia in the weak girl category or put her in the category with character? "I look like a weak girl to many people but actually I am not. I think I am quite strong or perhaps it is the character I have been acting all these year. It is hard to move away from being a good or polite girl and this causes the audience to think I am weak. In reality I am not." Tavia shows an "I am not easy to bully kind of look."

Although Tavia has already shook off the weak girl image and said that she wants to handle challenging role or perhaps it is because she is a spokesperson, she has not acted as a bad person at all. She emphasized that a bad role need not be totally bad. It could because she can’t help it too. "Character can be totally bad. I feel that as an artist, you have to try different roles."

Don't think Tavia is good to bully. She revealed that she doesn't have high EQ.

"My EQ is lower. Haha, I cannot control my own emotions sometimes especially in front of others. My temper will be quite bad and it is not very nice to flare in front of friends."

She revealed that when she flared up, she tried throwing things. "I am a hot tempered person. After throwing my temper in front of my family, I will feel very upset about it. But I know my family will forgive me." As for friends, when she is angry, she will not say anything and just stare at that person. "Of course I don’t wish to flare up when I am working. So I try to tolerate when I can." She joked and said that she will control it and flare it at home.

Doesn't want to be a matchmaker
Curious if Tavia wants to be matchmaker to pair up her good friends, Linda Chung and Raymond Lam, she laughed at the mention of matchmaker and emphasized that she won’t be one.

She said that both of them are a pair in Moonlight Resonance so in the promotional events, I try to pair them up to promote the drama. "They are really compatible in the show but outside the show, Linda is only a small girl, not really suitable for dating yet." Tavia laughed.

Tavia insisted that she and Raymond are only good friend despite rumors of both of them. "I feel that we should all put work as first. Raymond is producing a CD now and Linda is producing a new CD. They might probably have more interaction in the music industry." She laughed and said, "I really don’t know their relationship status. You should ask them about it.

Don't see Tavia as being petite, she is actually a glutton. When food is mentioned, her eyes will light up. It makes people envious that she has such a slim figure. Asked if she is interested in opening an eatery, "Opening an eatery is not easy. At least one must know how to cook. I don't want to harm others." Tavia revealed that only her mother has tried her cooking before. When asked if her mother has diarrhea after eating her food, Tavia replied, "Not at all. She even gave me 70 marks for it."
