Bwhahaha, Optus, Primus and Telstra are the evil companies you should avoid. there are better internet plans in australia (or should I say Ausfailia?) who are practically better such Adam Internet (SA); Internode (NSW) so to name up a few. (more info on whirlpool.net.au) But thinking of which how is it possible to legislate this without the consent of the people? isn't this country a democracy? if we cannot vote through a referendum, we always are able express ourself by a protest or a petition.

some sources i have read say that this new policy is only on a voluntary basis. http://www.zdnet.com.au/telstra-proposes-to-filter-interpol-blacklist-339317441.htm]link1; link2

oh right forgot to name my ISP: SpinTel - unaffected, i think TPG is also unaffected. only the 3 companies mentioned above are doing the block i think. dunno what happens with the ISP's buying data from them though.

I think it was voluntary but recent news say the big ISP gonna put it in, but you have to call to opt out of it...bloody opt out system...

but i think for those who are affected by this problem, they should be notified by their ISP. did you get a letter or some sort?
