I don't know what to say anymore, but i think it's gonna be hard for this family to even have a normal life anymore after being locked in the basement for so many years, but this story does seem exaggerated because i mean they must have got sick or something and would die, don't they have to do things like shower and stuff, don't really get it. if the man let them out to eat, shower and stuff why don't they try to rebel against him, are they brainwashed by this guy or what. I don't believe that one person can survive 24 years in a single place without going anywhere and also during that time frame, a couple of other people joins, it's just unbelievable.

ye thats why it wasn't that bad, at least they had some sort of freedom. they prob had the usual stuff in a household, prob felt like house arrest for them.
