Hermit crabs make the best pets. They're maintenance free and if they die, I can always cook them!!! hahah just kidding...

You know tortoises are really high maintenance... and besides unless u get the huge 100lb ones the small ones normally only live about 40 yrs and only more if u have a back yard for it and kno how to let it hibernate
I love puppies and dogs! I myself own a Shih Tzu. Looks something like this: (note: this is not my dog, just a random pic I found on google, but mines look very much like this only he's brown) I prefer dogs over cats because they are more fun and loyal. Most cats are lazy and disloyal. All they do is lay around... kinda boring. Also, their eyes kind of creep me out sometimes. Notice how in almost every horror movie (especially the Asian ones) there's always a cat involved? Anyway, no offence to any of the cat lovers in here... just something I've observed. -sweat Hermit crabs are awesome!!! I agree with that. But other then sleeping they don't really do much and move too slowly for my taste. Plus, the one that my friend named after me died on day 1 of purchase. Hehe. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. :( And speaking of fishes... during my freshman year in hs, one of my friends gave me a small tank with a gold fish in it as a b-day gift. But it became too distracting because everytime I studied and looked up, I would see a string of feces hanging from it... and then I couldn't concentrate anymore. And it died because I accidentally overfed it. The fish was even harder for me to maintain than my dog. lol -blush
Oh that is too cute! Makes me want to get a dog now. The only pet I ever had was a hampster, and that was way back.
I agree with dog had 2 dogs in my house I feel so much better everytime I see them and I thrust they are man best fruend
