    thx =)
im happy with it (once i pick it up that is hahaha)
its the cleanest one i've found, and its def at a premium price unfortunately =(
but u get wat u pay for...
all up, once i get transfered (stupid stamp duties etc), rego is due soon as well, is just about 30 aud

based on current exchange rate its not so bad, if u think in terms of cad, but wen they were closer to parity not so long ago... >.<
    its also an adm spec

current plans = save up lol... base car is already way over planned budget
its stock stock, as in still the original cd player >.<
first things probably get pod and front strut
and we'll see wat remaining $$ i have before i can do anything

definitely want to drop it, but insurance doesn't allow mods (can't afford the ones that do allow mods... for like 3-6k a year not including excess... kinda stupid)

teins coilovers are def great. but im sure tein springs is more than enuff, as the standard shocks are pretty good, it'd be pretty decent. if i find some on yahoo auctions at a decent price, then its a diff story =P but the aud/jpy is pretty crap... so =(... mite also consisder nismo springs, heard they were not bad either

mayb u guys can ship over some spare parts! =D

Well, I did visual 1st as that's what people see 1st. Then I did performance.

You should drop it on a set of Tein Flex (Part# GSP04-FUSS1). Drop it before rims, or do it the same time.

    wait.........is yours boosted?

    nope... still stock standard =)
i might just get some tein springs instead, or maybe check out nismo pending exhcnage rate on yahoo auctions
i'll consider coilovers, just a lil pricey

just that theres some hid group buy atm, could save some $$ if im gonna get it later on anyway lol

    Well, everyone's gotta start somewhere.

Usually I don't like people who put HID's in stock housings, but if I'm not mistaken, the S13 has projectors right? Don't think their HID projectors, but non the less, still better then glare!! lol. What company HID's are they? What Kelvin are you getting?

Springs are fine if your not into serious tracking and whatnot. But make sure you buy shocks for the lowering springs to. Don't just drop it on OEM shocks. It's not gonna ride that great and you'll kill your shocks in a couple of month.

I know more about coilover's then lowering springs and shock, so I can't really recommend anything. lol. Do you have a set up in mind yet?

im sure you will be able to put HID's in the stock S13 headlights no problem, they are definitely projectors

Thats good, cause we all know how bad glare is on stock Civic headlights.-innocent2

    its an s15 btw... lol

i don't see it as an issue with hids (i'll look into it)
the jdm models came with hids, but australian laws required vehicles with hids to have wipers due to refraction issues

the specials i'm considering is kaixen (korean - they supply luxury hyundai stock cars)
    http://www.kaixen.co.kr/en/
they seem pretty good value for $$, looking about $250 for a pair
if i do hi and lo's then its 2x that >.<
but i'd just do the normal lo's
temp wise, most i'd go is 6500, that already has tints of blue

mate who had s15 says the standard shocks are pretty good, so can consider just springs (some sort of teins). i def would like to lower it, even if its just on stock rims :p just need to find something thats reasonably priced (nothing ever is wen ur modding cars lol)

i heard the mono-flex is pretty good too, for street and occasional track
i saw the price and its not too appealing... lol 2500 or so

tho i'd like some smoked yashio led taillights... its like at the current prices near 1k >.< which makes it pointless ... lol

Hmm, I see the HID's design don't come with a harness. It's a direct plug in to the OEM socket. From what I heard that's riskier then running a harness which draws power directly from the battery and uses the socketas a signal wire so it puts less load on the factory wiring.

The thing is about having HID's in the Hi beam is DRL's. I dont know if you guys have to have Day Time driving light like Canada or not but because of that it really hard to put HID in some of our Hi beams because some cars have DRLs in the same place as high beams. But if you don't have DRL's thn go for it. But you have to remember that you can't high beam people by flicking your light on and off. I'm pretty sure those ballest's don't support re-ignition, so it will shorten the light of your ballest.

Yah, lol. The flex really kills the wallet like theres no tommorow. hahaa. But suspension isn't something you want to cheap out on. :wtf:

Why don't you buy an extra set of tail lights and make your own LED tails. I bought a set for my accord but got lazy and never really opened them up. Also, don't think my knowledge us quiet up to par also lol.:smiling:

im thinking i mite go cheap and just do diy smoked, ie just spray tint on stock lights lol...
y bother wasting $$ on 2nd set hahahah

i'm only looking to do the lo set on hids
not worth doing it for high beam
    but i''ll see :p
who knows wat budget does hahah
    plus i know they'll fit... =)
    otherwise i'll hack it hahah

which tein springs would u recommend?
avg set of coilovers = 1500 or so =/

    HAhaha.

I usually don't recommend people to get Springs, cause you'll be much happier with coilovers. I know their expensive. You can always sell you body. :laugh2:

Tein only has like 2 types of Springs I think. the S tech and some other Luxury one which I don't thing you want. Luxury = Non Sporty -rolleyes

Why don't you try H&R Springs, or Eibach. That's all I can think of off the top of my head now. Kinda had a Brain fart..................

What the.....I dont see S tech springs for the S15. They have it for the S13 and S14. Those might work if the suspension and control arm everything are the same. Then it jumps to a 350z..........Yah, don't even think about it -tongue2

Do you live close to the track?

Thats what I was planning to to do last summer. To see what difference each mod makes to the car, but the closest track from my house is 1 hour and 30 minutes away. I'm not driving back and forth like 10 times. lol.

I will donate $2.00 to help you get started. But you must come pick it up. :p
