btw ang... maybe you should put a "READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING TO PA" and put that as a sticky topic in each forum section. they read it first as a warning. if they persist, THEN ban them.. so theres stages... ban account temporarily first, if that doesnt work, delete account, and if that doesnt work, ban IP.. it gives them a chance to learn from their mistakes... but youre the boss so its your call!
most of the time there is no second chances for stupidity, the majority of them almost all have second account they think they can get away with. Secondly i factor in judgements if this person is a contributer or a leecher,simply we dont care for leechers. Saves us alot of time checkin back on them. yes i weight in alot of factors before i ban but people ignorantly disrespect the rules so %90 of the time its an easy decision. we have the rules page in bold big font on the forum main if they can't get accross that then its their own doing but yes we should make some kinda agreement page for that in the near future. they cant go on pa and any other accounts they've made is gone too.
wow... PA is really strict now... kinda feel bad for the sensible bananas... but i guess all the leechers has pushed the mods too far... *sigh*

nah we're still pretty much the same on the relaxed rules except more idiots are exposing themselves this time around.

I've dealed a lot with spammers before on the boards I was modding and recognize every spam post with ads. (not the same spammers on here who apparently bump up their post counts to become VIP????) Really, although I'm a newbie on here myself I can tell PA is getting more and more folks than let's say 2 years ago? "Old skool boardies" are already asking for actions against the old thread kick uppers, duplicated topics etc. I speak out of experience AND as a Media & Culture student with a 'Network Communities and Interactions' as pet subject I've done quite some analysing on these things.
