Hmmm. What about changing the picture bar at the top of the page that says "Popular Asians?" Or at least giving members choices to choose from for the bars, colors, and fonts that the forum is displayed with? The same grey-blue outline is getting kinda old. And for the Asian Entertainment Gossip section--which, even as a guy, I frequent a lot--I was wondering if we could keep it more updated with stuff. I go to Asianfanatics for a lot of news, and they do a pretty good job updating almost everyday--I don't know how they do it, but I was wondering if we could keep our news section even a little more updated. I'd be willing to do post-overs, but then I'd feel like I am ripping off of AF news. haha
i agree on the layout thing...i was talking with a guy who would do some graphics for PA but he all sudden he dissappeared...or is too busy. As for the News section, i only post whats important.. i leave out the nonsense fluff... like "andy lau goes shopping and theres a pic" lol i dont really care and im sure no one cares about that... what we do care is his upcoming movies and albums are coming out... and yes i used Andy Lau as an example. AF is a great source for asian media news...i agree.
Yea AF good for news... but PA great for BS chit chat -lol... jk... they may be AF's but we're PA dammit.
About the whole "view members online" debate thing going on in the other thread... I think it should be made an option but only for the members who contribute a lot. Like have it as a "privilege" sorta. I don't know... but I think the members who have greatly contributed to the forum deserve some kind of benefit that separates them from those who hardly contribute, if you guys know what I mean? Because I think that would make the rest of the members want to contribute more, if they will be given certain benefits. Like if everybody is given the same options, then it won't motivate people to post more. Like I know on soompi, I think they only allow their "super" members to use the search engine or look up other member's post, change certain things in their profile... ect. Yeah, justa suggestion.

we use it to primary stop leeching and encourage members to post and contribute as this is a forum, if members were just here to d/l and not to post there will be no point in other sections or even this forum been up its not rly hard to post sensibly and to stay on topic
Yes cuz this primarily is a FORUM... not just downloads... and I think it's about time to raise the Limit or come up with something else... cuz as you can from dauphu... 15 posts ain't that hard to make in one day...
