Also we really need the OP or mod / admin to update the following:- PA's Chinese Download Album List **PA's Chinese Singles Download List** SHORTCUT to List of Dramas / Shows As you can see, last update was a year ago, so this will mean the longer it hasn't been update - more you will have to add on the list then. I know everyone seems to be busy, that's why don't rely on the original poster to always update the list. Mod or admin can also update the list too. Perfect example: List Of Chinese Movies Available For Download! Because I'm always updating, the less I will have to keep editing the thread. This will also mean that i won't need to click on pages by pages to add on the list.

Guys... The administration team work on PA on a voluntary basis... You can't just force them to do stuff.... These are definitely great suggestions, but some of the suggestions are quite complex to implement, and they should not be treated like a TO DO list.... Who knows, they may be looking into how to do it, but maybe there isn't a way found yet? If they deem the site fine the way it is, we just need to accept their judgement. Again, they do this out of their own time and effort, let's not force them to do stuff...
need more mods to just update like threads and sections .. and yes obviously they dont have time or too busy .. get someone who understands the forum ,who iss moderatly active and someone who mainly all the actives know............ i mean if someone like rockky or th20 the mods in dl section could also have control of the drama discussion section .. that would be so much easier as they will be the ones who not only upload but adds a discussion thread for it !!
^ Why don't regular members who are active enough to have a tiny responsibility to do it? like ulti, Dan, RTH, BB, well active people and some VIPs gives people a bit more chance to help out the forum a lot more
yehh.. agree, seems like the forum is only relying by ang - seems thats the only person who can do these stuff. --> updating mainly. But im pretty sure the other rest of the red has the ability to add more section no? Like i said before - why not let the other team in reds or green to have the ebility to help ang out? points system won't work unless you are in a torrent site. like speed.cd, limited sign ups etc, and whatever you download you have to upload and if your ratio is below 1 you are in danger of being banned. it's impossible to change the dl section now to torrents and lots of people don't know how to do it. the points system will make people lose track and like some people said, lack of mods to keep an eye out unless PA invests or gets more donations to get a better system going for tracking sharing d/l links etc
I'm just siggesting jer.. Yeh.. torrent site works the best with points. Whatever you download you have to seed back to gain your ratio up. So no 'hit and run' there then.. iunno. i give up. I just want the thanks button to be in use to be honest rather than just being there and hoping memebers will click on it.
we know you mean well Susie, and they're certainly great suggestions. But you see, there are some forums that do implement point systems, and i found them to be a huge deterrent.. The reason why PA stands out is due to its freedom (as others have already mentioned), and that makes PA what it is. However, one thing we can probably get out of this is perhaps promotion of more moderators? PA is growing, and with population growth, requires a larger number of moderating members... the more moderators there are, the easier the work for the administration team (and current moderators). Perhaps, promotion is in order? Again, all up to the admins.
Tbh PA needs a refurb in everything... members, mods, rules, allowance, some sort of restrictions... the whole lot
I still think we should find another way to get people to access the download section instead of the current screening process. Like I've said many times, if the screening process was in place when I was signing up for PA, I'd be iffy about giving information to strangers I don't know. I would have passed on PA and headed to another forum. One possible alternative is maybe a min 5-10 post requirement. And I also agree with what Dan said earlier. Some type of development team or promotion of mods would help PA out.
