At $50 for closed loop liquid, its a good price. Considering how some heatsink & fan combos that cool like that cost more, this is a good deal. On the plus side, less noise, and since it's not like traditional liquid, no maintenance is really needed.
Last I checked it was 59 with a $10 MIR. Either way, good air cooling costs about the same, but with more noise then the h50.
oh is that so... :O I didn't opt for liquid cooling on my setup, so i didn't realize the cost and the maintenance was so cheap on that liquid cooling setup..
shit.. tryin to have my pc stunt like evel knievel.. nothing wrong with trying to get it cooler.. plus less noise..
If you have money to blow, I would get this. It's cooler and quieter than the h50. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018&cm_re=noctua-_-35-608-018-_-Product Might need to measure your case first, to see if it can fit lol.
nooo.. can't mess with those big ass heatsinks.. Ya know i'd imagine they'd warp the hell out of your motherboard considering how much weight they got to 'em. I might get the h70 if its on sale, but then I don't think it'll be quieter since it's got 2 fans..
how can you move anything around with that big of a heatsink.. damn Im gonna try out 3dmark.. almost 600mg dl..
just went from 3588 to 3954 after bumping the gpu core clock to 860 mhz. Wondering if I should keep the settings..
