^ chance of fitting in my case? 0. Eventually these graphics cards are going to reach the length of an average two by four.
Wow that board is gorgeous! I'm seriously considering getting rid of the GTX280 for an ATI card with Eyefinity support.
My score sucks on PCMark05 ... http://3dmark.com/pcm05/3059914 Compared to Crystal84: http://3dmark.com/compare/pcm05/3059914/pcm05/3059874 Compared to fearless_fx: http://3dmark.com/compare/pcm05/3059914/pcm05/3059842
Probably no update in the future for my desktop... Not bringing it with me to college. I recently spent $300 on 4gb ram, GTX 460 768mb, and OCZ Vertex 2 60gb.
Man, do you work? I mean, I spend MUCH less than you, and my IBM salary is now non-existent. And the fact that you still complain about random stuff makes me cringe rofl
daddy's money.... anyways...... how much does IBM give you!? if you don't me asking.... you can give a range if that is better.....
My overclocked settings... CPU clocked at 2.7 GHz, GPU was at.. 800MHz core, 1600MHz Shader, 2000MHz Memory http://3dmark.com/pcm05/3060103 compared to my original: http://3dmark.com/compare/pcm05/3059909/pcm05/3060103
about 48k CAD annually before 40% taxes... it all went to uni tuition, and stupid random shit.... sigh.... if you're implying that the money you earn as gifts total up to more than an employee's salary, then shit son, your relatives must be fucking famous actors or some shit to give you that much
^ I love how this argument about RTH's funding comes around constantly. Ultimately, its really none of our business how he gets his money, nor how responsibly he spends it. Its not worth the stress, Dan . Some kids do get alot of cash from parents/relatives for special occasions, whether that is a good thing or not. I personally haven't received money from family in over 5 years, but I do get a hefty christmas bonus from work which pretty much makes my holidays ^_^. Those overclocked specs are quite impressive. I might overclock my ram to 1800 mhz later today just for kicks now. My case temps are consistently quite low which seems to make overclocking low risk, although you really need to pay attention to your voltages. Over-volting is probably the biggest danger to wrecking a component or two.
^ that's definitely true, however when someone complains, it usually means they want other people to compliment them to make them feel better about themselves. so i'm just responding to his complaints accordingly lol
I didn't change any voltage settings at all. For the CPU, it was just FSB settings. For the GPU, it is the program it comes with the video card, it allows me to change the clock and adjust the voltage if I need to. However, I didn't change any voltage. edit: Another run with OC'ed settings AMD Phenom 9750 @2.7GHz, 850MHz Core, 1700MHz Shader, and 2200MHz Memory The stock settings were: AMD Phenom 9750 @2.4GHz, 700MHz Core, 1400MHz Shader, 1848MHz Memory. http://3dmark.com/pcm05/3060147 OC'ed vs stock http://3dmark.com/compare/pcm05/3060147/pcm05/3059909
Not bad, i make about the same at the moment but i am due for a performance review.... getting a raise soon -sweat
Overclocked my i5 2500K to 4.5GHz and got a little Boost in the Benchmarks...comein from 16k now 19k http://3dmark.com/pcm05/3060927;jsessionid=8E4F11B1121F5288DBAF01B3B8424BFF?show_ads=true&page=/pcm05/3059874%3Fkey%3D0wJkxsXVn3YVCbZWfsRrp2XvCF3wUD
