The poor men windows Vista upgrade

Have Home Premium on my laptop. Bought a desktop and only wanted basic on it (so no Aero). After using both, I honestly believe that the Aero interface is not worth the $50 difference (this is usually the cost difference on customized builds). If it will be your only PC in the house tho, I would recommend Home Premium for the better multimedia capabilities.

But aero is what made vista so cool looking lol, although ubuntu beryl is so much cooler

see the only reason people are making skins from xp for vista are that vista has a loooonnnngg way to go lol

 

i got my vista for free so i aint complaining

 

warning, this vista transformer will overwrite your windows files, so its installed by tampering with your system files. if you mess up the installation, your pc might screw up. if you are willing to take the risk, like i did, it might work fine, assuming it was done correctly.

 

does it have the scrolling option too or just the look of it?

 

It pretty straightforward isn't it? I'm surprised people can find a way to mess it up.

 

^ things always screw up, when people least expect it, cause 1. its windows 2. people never read the instructions properly
