It depends what you are after. TVPad3 does not require a fix for the green man if you have the latest firmware installed. And yes you need to change the DNS to have some of the live streams work again. Apparently in the US you need a paid DNS service though (I guess thanks to the friendly ISPs).
Same for me. Here is a Vchannel (No ad version) for back up. http://www.mediafire.com/download/vo11aaf6teliy1m/vChannel.v.1.2.b.apk Btw...did u see my post #1055 about the experiment on apps that work on the Android MXQ box?
Not going to bother installing vChannel since it's interface isn't really meant for a tv box. I have it installed on other devices. I'm using Kodi on a Letv X3-55 (TV) for TVB drama/shows. I did saw the post, but I don't have Unblocktech box apps, but saw what apps you said work. I'm not really looking to purchase anymore boxes for now, since the TV I'm currently using is technically an Android box that I can sideload most apps to if I need to. Just hoping tvpad would work.
Using the dead easy method with a bit of code modification you can actually delete the old login file then copy and rename the loginforcev2 file over to replace the original login file to permanently fix green man issue Thanks phanto for the hacked login file Wonder how you were able to hack this file? To find out what it does and to make the necessary modifications I do check your thread in TV pad talk... Just haven't created an account over there
I changed to 49.213.10.163. But it is not working for live channels. Does anybody know a working DNS?
Yes, but I rather not do that. I somehow bricked one of my TVPads when I manually did that via FTP. So I rather not take that chance with someone else's TVPad. Furthermore if by some miracle the TVPad servers come back online, then you still have the TVpad in original condition. I used IDA Pro with it's decompiler which shows you partial C code. That way it was easier to understand what was going on. Then it's just a matter of skipping the relevant piece of code by making some changes to the assembly code. Are you in the US ? Then you need a paid DNS service apparently.
In that case, is this a TVPad unit which you have not used for a long time ? According to my research the apps are currently using cached data for the channel list. So if you have not used your TVPad in a long time, then your channel list will be outdated.
Then you are out of luck for now. /storage/<app_name_or_id> Yes, I transferred it to another TVPad successfully, but another one didn't want to work. So I am not sure if there is a limit. I didn't bother looking into it further since my dev TVPad was the one affected.
hi! i have the tvpad4 and the store isnt working, its all blank anyone know how to fix this? i tried to install apps through a sd card (16gb) card but tvpad didnt react when i put the sd card in, why? any help would be appreciated thanks!
Hi, I have a tvpad4 and wonder if Japanese live tv (as in niji_show in tvpad2) is available. Downloaded N+ store app and pkg launcher on usb, but launcher file didn't get recognized by tvpad so wasn't able to install. Anyone able to watch Japanese channels anymore on 4? thx much!!
Download these 2 files and copy to a usb drive. Put the usb in your tvpad4 and it will pop up for install. (make sure to unzip the yuetv file before adding to the usb) Auto DNS working just fine. https://mega.nz/#!OINBkZ7C!5F8_seRJfHQXpnG6jO4MsZQ3T8337-NTEPZC-rexg2Q https://mega.nz/#!SFV3UahA!rrUF5Hmb6EdSN1S2MeRCxVAivowVxDNmUHKBsyk1xHA Here is the video instructions... http://tvpadnews.com/2015/11/26/how-to-install-app-on-your-tvpad-4-yuetv-apk/
Can you please provide other DL links aside from mega.nz? Thanks. It's mostly for my mom and dad. They haven't been able to watch anything. THey really miss the TVB news and HK stuff, as well some mainland channel. I really appreciate the help.
