Thanks. I pretty much traced a poor quality image and added my own effects. Its quite easy to do to be honest.

Very nice! A vector artist! I tried getting into vector a year or so ago but would always stop midway through a project because I would lose interest. Vectoring isn't just about skill, there's alot of time and patients involved as well, especially with the coloring. I'm loving the first one!

Yeah doing vector graphics is very time consuming. But the more time u spend on it, the better the result will be.
I really like the 1st one too. Its my fav at the mo. Ive kinda edited it for my personal desktop. just added a different background. Check it out below.

 

for some reason the background looks like a bunch of sperms to me lol

 

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!! LOL I think it looks better than having it with the plain black gradient. I haven't had time to create my own background so i just merged a background i found somewhere on the net together.

nice drawings.. great resolution too.. but might wanna let others know tat u only use photoshop for the colors on scanned drawings.. or others might mistaken tat u can draw tat on photoshop...

well.. at least tats based on my own experiences.. unless u use a super sensitve webcom pad on pwer pc... u cant get tat kinda smooth sharp lines on ps..

First of all WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN XIAOJIA??? I missed you. lol

Yeah i cant really draw that good with a mouse. Its almost impossible. If i had one of them pen thingy's, then i could draw really good. I was gonna get one but its way expensive.
Yeah i traced all my images using the Pen Tool, then added colour. pretty simple really. Im not as good of a drawer as you. I like ur drawings alot.

Havent had the chance to download/buy CS3 yet. Its supposed to have better features but im not sure what more they can add??? Have a go at it n let me know what u think. I might get it myself.

Nice to see u too! And so active ard here. Still watching korean movies? or sick of them already? wow.. its been a month since i came on PA... time sure flies when busy at work. Im doing an internship now.. so really busy. And no time to watch movies anymore.. haha..

Talking abt the pen tool.. i think its really fantastic.. can get realy nice curves easily. I will try out cs3 when i hav the chance..

O.. wat abt uploading some of ur past designs? will love to see ur works.. unless u afraid they will be stolen.. lol..

 

Haha. Im in the same boat as you.... almost. I aint really had that much time lately to watch Korean movies. Been working and training (exercise: jogging everyday etc). Ive always wanted to do an internship but in another country like Canada, USA, Korea (OBVIOUSLY!!!) LOL etc.

Yeah Pen tool is AWESOME!!!! Prolly the best tool in Photoshop.

haha.. no la.. drawing and graphic design is not tthe same. i cant do graphics design for nuts.. haha.. not enough experience in tat field.

hmm.. come to think of it.. i dun really know wat graphics design course consist of.. r there like different departments? and wat do you specialise in?

btw, do you hav any tutorials for wallpaper design? like composition of elements? background? etc?

 

dang you the talent to draw all of that? thats crazy. i gave up drawing last year just cant have the patience to draw and such. My suggestions for better backgrounds are different brushes if you have photoshop, or you can use a free software called GIMP. keep up the great work hope to see more of these drawings of yours and maybe you can draw one for me sometimes xD
