Oh, the sheer drama, The Three Kingdoms RPG... ...versus the classic: Which is better? Too close to call? You be the judge.
the ending is acceptable to me...sad but i like those. Kenneth really carried the series...series started out so so got better towards the end.
i recently watched "a step into the past" again because of this show and i noticed it to be about 10 times better than this one. the main character, the story, the mind games (especially on the last episodes), damn, it was suspenseful whereas in this show this was never the case.
THe budget they use on "a step into the past" are probably 4times than this series. Also "a step into the past" have 40 episode and they use more people/horse/soldier/actor/. Also it was like 12yr ago.
so you're saying three kingdoms > step into the past? the budget definitely is higher since they went back to china to film, had some authentic sites for filming and also the fact that it was 40 freaking episodes long. the story is so much better than three kingdoms, i guess that also costs some money.
I think Step into the past is better than Three kingdom but however you have to treat these 2 series in 2 different category. THree kingom is low budget and more of cheesy and comedy drama that you wont care what is going to happen. While Step into the past is better in everything budget (40episode) , more historical, and less cheesy. I know Step into the past have 40episode.. of course it use more budget. But then just compare the 20episode then..
I did not like the ending at all. Why make Kenneth go through so many years alone and then died right when they meet?
