lol cause he's a good actor for this type of medieval warfare movie i guess... like i mean there are tons of actors out there would look weird in this type of setting and suit. like i like how they casted tony leung in the red cliff, but no doubt the guy would look funky in armor. Also i know what you talking about i said at least he's part taiwanese unlike maggie q....full breed doesn't mean they good actors. and takeshi's first language is most likely mandarin anyways...just because he has some japanese blood and not "full breed" you are discriminating against him or what? I only hate maggie q because she's viet and she's always acting in chinese movies, if she spoke fluent chinese i wouldn't hate but she barely even speaks it without the phonetic help i think. she's being typed cast all the time that's why. just because she's asian, they don't even care about what ethnicity...just that she's asian, then she speaks chinese. That's like generalizing all the "Asian races" into just one group without any distinction.
