Turtle and Frogs

um..i think i tried eating frog's be4...i hated it..never tried turtle...dont wanna try turtle..

 

^Hmmm...why'd you hate it? Well, I can understand that....not everyone can palate this kind of food.

 

OMG. i hate to eat these poor animals.
especially turtles. i have a turtle of my own and would never dare to eat them. my family eats frog legs and i think it's gross, but one time i was forced to try it. i know GROSS.
my cousin said it tastes like chicken

 

I've never tried Frog or Turtle...don't know what they'll taste like but it shouldn't be too strange...but then my sense of taste isn't great seeing as i can't tell the diff. between a chicken's egg and a quail's egg (as in taste...I can tell the diff. physically but...yeah). So....I don't know...

 

I tried frogs... dont really ;like them, but turtle soup is not bad =P

 

I've eaten frogs before as a Chinese dish...I don't know about turtles though...I might have before...

I love frog especially the one cook in black sauce with dry chills. As for the turtle, LOL yummy, yummy in soup and good for health.

NewAzNSensation, how it it like to have a pet frog? You can't play with it can you? what do you feed the frog?

 

Errr... No... Don't eat those stuff. My diet is restricted to chicken, fish, seafood, pork and deer meat. I don't even take beef for religious purposes.

My dad tried to force me to eat frog when I was little. Said it was a chicken or something. And 1 bite I got GROSSED OUT. So nope, not my thing.

And I'm an animal lover. I don't eat cute animals... Like turtles or rabbits or dogs..l. The sorts...

I would never never eat them... I've once been offered a chance to eat squirrel... But I'd rather much save it and keep it as a pet than let it end up in the pot so i flatly refused...

 

Some Asians born in western countries usually don't eat dogs, frogs, or turtles because they are adapted to their environment and people they talk to and when someone say is eating dog is gross and evil because dogs are man's best friend so they think that way too. I personally don't care as long as it's good and good looking too.

I agree with weedpeach. I wouldn't be able to eat a turtle or try turtle soup since I, too, have a turtle. But frogs are good. Taste like chicken. Very soft and tender. Probably better than the chicken itself, if I might say so.

 

i ate frog legs at the yum cha place. I thought it was chicken..

 

the frog i eaten is called "tin kai" boiled in herbal soup

 

I thought those turtles are sea turtles. I love those soups made out of them, and frogs are okay.
