the last unpredictale thing was To Catch the Uncatchable a couple of yrs ago... i didn't want inspector Mok to die -cry2 but yeah it's always been predictable... they write what ever they majority of viewer wanna c...
yea that was actually a intresting ending....i almost thought that they were gonna find some amazing cure so he could live but i was actually happy that he died...just because TVB series always gives u a happy ending when a sad or tragic on would have suit the series better i.e. Country Spirit- im sry to ppl who like the ending...i would have prefered that lam ga duun died....i mean come on....they have a scene where he basically got shot in the head but for some magical reason he lives... its really not just TVB series though....drama series in general are getting predictable....series are being make non-stop but within those now many are new ideas...most story lines are repackaged and recycled over and over again....where the actors within it look about the same....but then again...most of the better vet actors are going to China to find better pay...so TVB pushes a group of actors on u...and give them parts that would have been ususally payed by a vet actor....but these parts often don't really fit..... but really when u come down to it....we're still gonna continue to watch these series...arien't we...
umm didnt they have like an alternate ending for To Catch The Uncatchable where he lives... =/ but i do hate the short endings where everything gets solved in a matter of minutes..
i think tvb make preditable series because audience wanted it that way..you know some like direct happy ending, rather than using their brains to figure out an abstract series...some of tvb happy endings kinda sucked tho..lol..they make it seems too perfect: 2 couples end up living together happily, all problems are solve...it seems kinda corny to me..but i guess thats how chinese audience like it..like how they complained how dayo died in to catch the uncatchable, and rather choose the happy ending for it instead...
they did... but the only played that last 5min after receiving like 500 complaints... i only take the original ending yeah i hate those short endings too!!!!!! i want more details... getting married n then fading out isn't good enough!!!!!!!!!!!! -nono
yea i guess thas why those Chinese movies is getting kinda crappy.. nothing really tvb style... which pple are too used to... lol Dawn wants the special endings after the marriage... -bigsmile
that's right... i wanna know how many kids they had... how they changed daipers... what they had for dinner blah blah blah... hahaha j/k
well I mean sometimes they only show endings for the main characters and like the supporting characters completely gets left out...
nowadays new series are very predictable, but like older series(many years ago) were actually more interesting and less predictable then new ones now. my theory is that the stories are all different but ending in a similar way LOL
no its just they go with the general majority of ppl so that they can please them and that way they hope to ensure more viewers for the series after. i think otherwise some ppl may get annoyed and decide to stop watching their shows.
