Definitely used nuoc mam. It's the freakin' delicious. Yes it was home made. And we had choy in it as well. We're not that great at making them since it's been years. So it's all good.
the vietnamese special sauce!! haha somethin my dad makes... it's delicious! have you guys tried north viet pho? that's how my mom cooks, but i actually found a few north viet restaurants here recently which is awesome and different from other pho places.
hoooooooooly shiet....that looks yummiiieeee....i went to vn restaurant last nite...ended up having pho instead of the goi cuon.....=/..... we have 2 vn resto's here in my suburb....but they dont have that egg thingy nor they do have those rice pancake " cherng fun thingy's" we talked about... u know...those with minced meat and vn sausage on top *droooolz*....butbut they dont taste that great... what i like most about vn food....they use heapsa coriander.... I <3 CORIANDER aaaaahhh...VN FOOOD FOR THA WIN!
