I think it was started when someone bought a watch that was too big for them and it just ended up on their palm.

I never heard about wearing watch on your right hand to be gay. I always were my watch on my right hand sicne it's the most comforable to me.

it doesn't matter which hand you write with. by default, unless you have some custom watch or something, watches are supposed to be on your left so you can easily fix the time with the little knob thingy with your right hand. If you have it your right wrist, you'd have to twist your left hand to adjust it and it awkward. Of course, you can just take off the watch and adjust it but that's why you're supposed to wear it on the left so you can easily adjust without having to take it off. now, to be on topic, i've heard of this before. maybe it's only in the US? haha. I know for a fact that half the population that wear watches in the philippines wear it on their right hand and they can't all be gay right? lol.
I thought it was all about personal preference. I personally wear on the left as i am right handed and it interferes with writing. I would say, don't listen to whoever made up this sort of thing. 人言可畏
