What Chinese dialect do you speak?

    I speak Canton and Tai San. One parents knows both so i grew up hearing both version. I can understand Mandarin sometimes dont know why. One time i couldn't understand a word and the next i understood the whole conversation. (Weird)

    but I never heard of Taishanese before

    Mandarin, a little cantonese from watching too many TVB dramas, and Penang Hokkien (completely different from Taiwanese Hokkien)
