    maybe i should get that on my NDS
    speak cantonese... learning mando... and my dad knows hakka but hasnt bothered to teach me >.<

    i think most chinese on here speak cantonese because are parents/ grandparents emigrated from Hk

    I am from Canton Province and currently living in NYC, So I speak Cantonese and Mandarin and a local dialect that is only spoken in my city called "Enping Hua" which is closed to "taishanese", but it is a little different.

    I'm an ABC with parents of Cantonese descent.
    I can understand Cantonese, but I can't really speak the language.
    My dad speaks Hakka, but i only know one or two words in that tongue.
    I know more Mandarin since I attended Chinese School for about...five years, but I quit early.
    I regret quitting now, though going there was like a torture with homework/quizzes/tests/and grades.
    So now I just try to learn from family, friends, dramas, and music.
