I can speak Cantonese but my mother's side is from Hong Kong something and my father's side is Vietnam but can't speak a word of Vietnamese
I speak Cantonese. I wouldn't count myself as saying I know Mandarin since it' very horrible. I took some Mandarin classes but was never able to master the basics.
cantonese! and i also understand a bunch of others like chiu chow, fujian, taiwanese, mandarin.. haha no wonder my major is east asian cultures o_o
I'm from United States but i understand Cantonese and can speak it but i have an accent that goes along with it but i my family is all ToiSan and i speak fluently with it & for mando i can understand it a little bit but can only speak the basics
