What Chinese dialect do you speak?

Madarin and canto, but my major is Madarin.

 

Cantonese but learning Mando cuz more and more people are speaking it

 

I speak Cantonese, and is able to pull off a bad Canto accented Mandarin. haha

 

I speak cantonese only. I wish I could speak or understand mandarin. Mandarin is difficult to learn.

 

^ LOL, you haven't try Japanese and French THOSE are difficult to learn as second (or third or fourth) language...

Mandarin can be easy if you have enough day-to-day exposure to it

Cantonese, since I was born in HK but grew up in the States. My mother's from HK and my dad from somewhere in Guangdong, so I can speak some Toishan as well.

 

I can only speak cantonese but cant read chinese... sooo humiliating since i can speak but not read. Wen I go to hk and go into chinese restaurant i will be like Edison in dog eat dog and circle pictures of food for my meal
