I agree with negiqboys, Christmas is for kids. I also find the gift giving kind of pointless, do you really have to buy gifts to be in the Christmas spirit? I'd say no,I don't buy into that marketing "the season of giving" BS, were if you love some one you must buy them a gift. However ,we did have family gathering which was nice. What i did was tell my family not to get me gifts and on my week off I'll just take my brother and parents out for dinner.
Christmas is not just for kids! I guess it depends how much effort you want to put towards the festive day.. This year was my first time without hot pot :( but then I did have very scrummy roast dinners and the usual "poon choi"! And yes I have still received presents at the age of 21 from family and friends. But mostly money which is all good to me! Also got alcohol, hand creams, body stuff, food, panda hat/scarf, and some belated text books lol
