xiao jie would be the proper ping yin in mandarin. Anyways... when my family was still in HK, my parents started up an electronic factory called "AVANTech". Some of our families' happiest and most prosperous moments have been when that factory was around. As a result, I kept "AVANT" to show how my family and past are a part of me. And yes... I know AVANT means before in french, but I didn't realize that until years after I started using that SN, haha. -dead -noclue And yes, I was using this SN LONG BEFORE the song artist showed up.
