when you love someone, no reasons are needed. when you name the reasons why you love a person, what if she change the things you love? are you going to stop loving her? or what if someone possesses the same things you love about her? when you love someone, you love everything about them and accept their flaws and then turn them in good things. back on topic the most romantic thing i did was i made a a ten page booklet full of pictures and love poems made by myself and gave it to her and then sang 'this i promise you' by nsync xD
i agree with lionheart, if a girl ever asked me why i loved her, i would tell her that i just do...that i don't need a reason to...i think that kind of love is better cause it feels more natural
also from cali (since u guys were say'n so ealier heh) not as fancy or well thought out as u guys but... senior prom, i brought flowers and tucked a decent looking plastic flower in there. The card read somthing along the lines of "until the last flower dies, i'll be by yourside" i think i goofed this up a bit cuz she didn't realize one of them was plastic lol... had to point that out after she stood speechless infront of me. Don't know if she got it the first time or got it after i pointed it out, i didn't ask... flaws >.<
hahahaha lol... but ive asked the same question to my friends... none of them could give me a good example of romantic things... sooo... in the usa there are at least few hahahahah @stilish... yeahhh... i asked my bf the same question before.... he said the same: "I dont need a reason to love you... you're just special to me"
nono, reasons weren't like that, i guess maybe i shouldn't have stated reasons, they were more like quotes that i made up. but basically everything was referring to her and no one else. they weren't reasons like, you have beautiful eyes... etc. nothing like that. Guys do nice things but girls never get it -.- so why bother?? lol I've also given a girl flowers, one before valentines with a card stating, "only a special girl gets a flower before valentines" and then gave one on valentines with a card saying " and on valentines" ... yea yea and then one more after "and after... etc etc whatever else you want on the card"
yes... the guys does something nice, girls don't get it... then complains that the guy never does anything nice.
All girls love the big romantic stuff, but as one of my ex have said "the little things that are the ones that I'll always remember"
ok, randomly joining this thread. hmm... for me, it would be when my bf made me a photo album with pics of us in it, along with a video of him playing a song for me on the piano (for my bday). Either that, or when he knitted me a scarf even though his classmates made fun of him. XD
well if u always do the same "little things" over and over again they won't remember it. before, i drove 50 miles to see her and she liked it, pretty soon i had to pick her up and drop her off 50 miles away... and gas is not cheap, and doing that 2 times a week, she sooned expected me to pick her up so that when i dont or i can't, she'll get mad. i always asked if she could get a ride with her friend since she comes back here also... but she doesnt like to ask them, she'd get mad at me... but yea, gas is expensive... and the time it takes for me to go there and come back, -.- imagine doing that for a year... i think i've done it for longer. i'm seeing the bright side of my breakup right here...
i am also randomly joining this thread! -^_^ the most romantic thing i know of a guy doing was my friend asking a girl to be his gf. he had a friend get her out of class one day and go to some room. i think i remember she was blindfolded and when she took the blindfold off, my friend's friends were surrounding her in a heart shape and each holding a rose. then he came out from behind a tree or something holding a bouquet of roses and asked her if she would be his gf. i want a guy to sing to me. but i'm sorry, he has to sing at least decently. if it was like in my sassy girl, i would be so happy -blush2 it's not that we don't get it. we just want more
U guys all did romantic stuff for ur gf's.... I have never had a guy who did something really really romantic for me.... they were all very sweet but nothing really romantic... I thought romantic asian guys didnt exist and that it was all created by a bunch of filmmakers but after reading all ur stuff im wondering??? =/ I assume the plastic flowers havent died yet.. but r u guys still together?
