I just finished the book and re-watched the film again, so I am having a Howl references syndrome. Sorry if it confused you I am serious, I am one of those ancient persons with a kintergarden (notice the spelling mistake?) equivalent of an EQ. I don't know about my IQ though, probably put me in, say, grade 1?
